From the bumper to the beginning of the cargo bed, the 2020 Jeep Gladiator inherits its frame from the legendary Jeep Wrangler, contributing to its remarkable off-road-ready build. The Gladiator takes advantage of its Jeep heritage, gaining an immaculate terrain management system on several trims, plus a proven ability to ford through water as high as 30 inches. The new model also introduces the Jeep spirit for open-air driving to the pickup market with the industry’s first available fold-down windshield.

The 2020 Gladiator comes fitted with a standard 3.6-liter V6 good for 285 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque. Also available on the Gladiator is a 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine, which delivers 260 horsepower and 442 lb.-ft. of torque. A six-speed manual transmission comes standard, while an eight-speed automatic option is available.
The Gladiator stands out from the rest of the segment with best-in-class towing and four-wheel-drive payload figures. The model is able to accommodate tow loads ranging up to 7,650 lbs. and haul up to 1,600 lbs. of freight in the cargo bed. As is to be expected from a Jeep, the Gladiator is no stranger to dirt and dust. Accordingly, the model’s cabin features a collection of easy-to-clean wipeable surfaces.
The Jeep pickup also keeps you connected as you wander with three advanced infotainment system options. Drivers choose between a Uconnect system paired with a 5-, 7- or 8.4-inch touchscreen. With the 7- and 8.4-inch systems, the Gladiator also gains Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration so you can access your smartphone’s apps and downloaded media right from your vehicle’s touchscreen.
